K. Manohar, Bangalore based self taught artist was in his sensational world of art from his tender age. K. Manohar’s art has a sensitive feel that usually has a tremendous effect on the viewer. He gracefully uses his own style to give his paintings a unique look. The ink sketches that he overlays on his paintings gives a feeling of depth and perspective, but despite that the watercolour washes are so dominant that the painting comes across like old English water colours of the country side. His paintings incorporate a spectrum of forms and colours and his love for nature is depicted along side man made architectural forms. He has evolved a technique that shows the simplified pattern of nature. K. Manohar also has an excellent feel for line drawing and his pen and ink lines have a spontaneous sensitivity.
